This $150 fee covers the cost of all rehearsals, any necessary alterations, digital recordings of the show, and other production costs associated with our recital. The $50 registration fee covers the cost of each dancer's commemorative t-shirt and their rental fee. The registration fee will increase to $75 for any dancers registering after August 23rd.

Recital Details
-
Casting Call: All dancers must attend the Casting Call on Saturday, August 23rd at our World Golf Village location. See specific call times for each age group above. At the Casting Call, dancers will arrive in their usual class dress code and bring all their dance shoes. Through dance and discussion, our instructors will determine the best fit for each dancer in at least one dance in our winter recital. There is no additional cost if your dancer is cast in more than one dance. Dancers auditioning for student choreography must audition for and participate in group dances for the winter recital. Student choreographers must prepare a 45 second demo of original choreography in the style to be considered - this does not need to be the choreography used for the winter recital. Following the Casting Call, you will receive an email with details on your dancer's casting placement including specific rehearsal times on the days listed above and appropriate attire for rehearsals and the performance.
-
What to Wear: For rehearsals, dancers will be required to attend in lavender or black leotard (based on age) and tan tights. Dancers will be required to wear the matching shoes for each style they are chosen to perform. More details will be provided on what to wear the day of dress rehearsal and the day of tech rehearsal/recital.
-
Costumes: Dancers will not receive costumes for this recital. They will be rented from the studio (included in the registration fee). Costumes will remain with the studio to be used year after year.
-
Preparing for Recital: Teachers will choose accessories and songs in August, to be revealed at the first rehearsal. Students will work during Saturday rehearsals from September to December to master the steps for each of their dances so attendance is extremely important.
-
Dress Rehearsal: All students will be required to participate in mandatory dress rehearsal at the World Golf Village location the week before the actual recital. Dancers will wear stage makeup with recital hair. The schedule for dress rehearsal day will be posted above. Costumes will be worn and returned during the dresss rehearsal.
-
Tech Rehearsal: The day of the show, all students will be required to participate in mandatory tech rehearsal before the actual recital. Dancers will wear stage makeup with recital hair. All dancers will check in by 4pm.
-
Recital Day: For recital, students will be expected to arrive in their assigned class apparel with stage makeup already applied and hair in place. Students will remain checked in after finale tech rehearsal on the day of the show. All dancers will be required to stay for the ENTIRE show and will be released after the final bow.
